In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Father, in this time of great expectation, we thank you for a season to remember. To remember that in all your glory, honor, and power, you orchestrated a real time and real place to reveal your son, the Christ, to us. To reveal the I Am of all to a grace-full mother and faithful carpenter. To bring forth the Unfathomable Light of Heaven down in the form of man, nay, in the form of a baby, so that this only begotten child would offer reconciliation to the whole of mankind.
Thank you for quietly piercing the darkness of this world with the True Light. True Light whose words are life. True Light who could not and would not remain quiet for zeal of his Father’s house. True Light from whom demons flee and power pours out. True Light from whom living waters flow and whose flesh sustains. True Light who counted all worthy of his love, bore all sin and shame, and conquered death and darkness, that all might believe in His name and have everlasting life with He and the Father in heaven.
No praise is ever enough.
May I remember today and all days, to take your True Light in me and shine it to others.
Holy Spirit come, that I may feed your sheep. Holy Spirit come, that I may offer my cloak. Holy Spirit come, that I may love others as you have first loved me.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
